Programming for Plant and Building Automation

PCE provides programming, configuration, adaptation and integration services for existing automation systems in building, plant and industrial automation. These include PLC and process control systems, HMI and SCADA visualizations, Building Management Systems (BMS), and KNX and Loxone applications. We work independently of manufacturers, programming and adapting control functions on existing platforms and integrating them into operational installations. Depending on the project, we also integrate operational data management, event logging and functions for continuous operational and energy optimization.

Yes. PCE has experience in Siemens PLC programming with TIA Portal and STEP 7 for SIMATIC S7 control systems. This includes developing and optimizing control logic, creating HMI and SCADA visualizations, commissioning automation software and troubleshooting existing automation systems. Depending on the system, industrial communication interfaces such as PROFINET, Modbus and BACnet can also be integrated into the automation solution.

Yes. PCE can analyze, modify, extend and optimize existing PLC and automation software. This can include changes to control logic, HMI and SCADA visualization, communication interfaces and existing TIA Portal or STEP 7 projects. Before modifications are implemented, the existing system architecture, interfaces and operational requirements are considered so that extensions can be integrated into the existing automation system in a controlled manner.

Maintainable automation software is based on structured PLC programming, traceable control logic and clear technical documentation. PCE can also use available operational, event and energy data to analyze and optimize control strategies and system operation.
